As we all know Impact has went through more name changes in the last 10 years than my grandmother went through underwear her whole life. Thumbs Up When will it ever end? Maybe, just maybe it's closer than we think! With Impacts loss of the Target bike contract(ends in April) and the loss of Target furniture(in the fall), the end may be near. Adding fuel to the fire is Ameriwood Industries unhappiness with Impact at this moment. I am told from a very reliable source that it is a very sensative subject at the moment and we are not allowed to talk about it. Naughty! Too late to turn back now! More news will be reported as it arrives. FG Signing out!

I just trained on Bicycles today. fun, fun fun.

Imacts biggest hiccup with me, is the poor communication.

I just threw away a shitload of old NVS reset shit that was clogging my studio apartment up, now I got a shitload of bike stuff to deal with. and that sux.

And the new milage pay is piss poor. As is the toll lease BS.

The wear and tear on my car high, and my pay is low....I'm praying something else comes my way soooooon.
As I think most of the tech's probably are.

Subject: IMPACT Communication

Over recent months, there have been countless stories in the news regarding the challenges facing today's businesses. Most companies are cutting back on expenses and are diligently working to become leaner and more efficient in order to survive the current recession. IMPACT is also being forced to make changes in our business in order to remain strong. These changes include significant reductions in non-essential expenses and developing new strategies to remain competitive and retain customers.

As part of this process, we had to once again analyze our current organizational structure and consequently make the decision to reduce our employee base in field management and in our corporate offices. These decisions were difficult and several factors were considered in order to identify the most effective path to navigate our business through these challenging economic times.

Over the past few days, we had conversations with the affected employees throughout our organization. With few exceptions, these employees will be with us until April 30, 2009. We understand that these types of situations are stressful for everyone involved and ask for your cooperation while we cross-train and transition responsibilities to other team members.

As always, I thank you in advance for being part of the solution.

Part of the bullshit is more like it.

Did impact finally "take the midnight train going anywhere?"

They continuously threw away any good help they had in exchange for any untrainable bozo they can find.

Faking background checks and sending these random degenerates to represent them in professional retail environments?

How long do they think this formula will last?
