In the new benefits handbook under paid time off it says we have up to 5 flexible days off. Aren't these personal holidays and didn't we have 6? Am I reading this wrong? It says IF the total number of national and designated holidays is less than 11.

CS,
All assoc. get 11 paid hloidays.
If you work in a state that celebrates Memorial Day as a paid holiday then you will get 5 personal holidays/flex days a year.
If you work in a state that does not celebrate Memorial Day as a paid hoilday (such as Florida) then you will get 6 paid personal hoildays/flex days a year.
The others are:
New Years Day
4th of July
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Christmas

The additional days off are only for full time, right? As a part time person, I know I only receive the holidays, and then only if I have worked the allotted hours in the quarter before.
