robbie_dee Moderator Joined: 01 Jul 2003 Posts: 113 Location: Cambridge, MA	Posted: Wed Jul 28, 2004 2:38 pm    Post subject: Home Depot Union?   Workers at the store in Harper Woods, Michigan, will vote this Friday and Saturday on whether they wish to join UFCW Local 876. If they vote yes, they will become the first unionized Home Depot in the country. Other Home Depot workers are currently organizing in the Michigan cities of Flint, Utica, Sterling Heights, Woodhaven, Taylor and Monroe, as well as other locations where it is currently too early to mention.
