thanks....i was not sure who could view it.

i believe that most of the outage of insite has to do with a people soft upgrade. people soft is system used by HR to enter new hires.

regarding myschedule plus, from what i understand and have read about, each week, the schedules will drop with base associate scheduled on key days...for example a friday and saturday for ODS. when the schedules drop for associates, they will be able to pick the rest of their shifts for full time and part time associates. i believe that oca's can then pick up the rest. it seems it is first come, first serve.

if i have this wrong, please correct me.
there are stores in different districts that are using myschedule plus and from what i hear, associates like it.

i was wondering if edits can be done BEFORE the schedules drop?

So if there are say 2 fulltimers in a dept. they will be fighting to get on insite first so they can pick all days or all nights or whatever?? And what is happening to your rotation then? No more knowing your schedule far in advance? It sounds like a nightmare to me. I prefer my 4 week rotation, having one weekend off so I can plan something. Plus it is a fair schedule between myself and the other FT person. What if a FT person is on vacation and can't get to a computer? Can the on call or part timers pick up their FT hours before they can? Why does Macy's make this scheduling so darn difficult!

you're right.. Peoplesoft has been upgrade to version 9.0 . It is for human resources. It is in portal --> Human Resources.. They just put out the new guidelines out for Style at Work. The 30% is actually a coupon and a manager has to approve of your black clothing purchases. You still get the extra 20% backoffice discount.

So we don't have sense enough to put together "black" clothing? Are we grade school children?? "Mother may I....?"

My GSM said I was too casual yesterday. It's not anything I haven't worn before. (brown capris and Calvin Klein gold sparkle top) In fact, I got a complement on the top.

well.......... we have to check them out. if they are truly black, MAYBE we will let you wear them. and if it increases sales at your registers, we'll make it a new rule for ALL associates. Evil or Very Mad

When I go to Macy's and all the associates are wearing thongs outside their clothes and showing leg, and instead of OUTSTANDING, it's "Hey their Sailor Boy", I'll know what happened! Hehe! LOL!
