I've mentioned before how very "conservative" my local area is.
Not only have we earned a "worst person in America" award - - now we have this:

| Obama posters depicting the President as the "Joker" popped up along bus routes and near schools Wednesday morning. |
Not unexpected are the local rag comments:

What in the world does this poster have to do with race?!!! It's picturing him as the joker! As in, no one can take him seriously!!! And where's the other side of this story? I can bet you many people love this.

Happyfrenchman, what about this, in itself, is racist? Sure there are racist themes that could be attached to this act, but I don't see it. And I for one am no part of any tea party or rebel flag-waving group. Race became an issue in this act when the woman in the story brought it up.
Presidentist? Yes. Racist? No.

Obama is African and White-American, he does not meet the guidelines of African-American. His kids are Half African-American, quarter African, and Quarter Anglo...How can this be a Racist Remark?

I dont think Obama is Racist, I believe he would do an Asian Girl...

Oh,my, save the children! [...] The more kids learn of Obama's and his socialist ilk, the better off America will be. |
I've decided my "neighbors" are dumb as rocks.

Nearly three years after then-Congressman Mark Foley, R-FLA, saw his political career crumble following the revelation of his sexually explicit emails with underage congressional pages, he's garnering the spotlight once again: as a radio talk show host.
Foley, who resigned after ABC News' The Blotter broke the story before going to rehab in Arizona, is set to debut his radio show entitled "Inside the Mind of Mark Foley" on Sept. 22 on West Palm Beach radio station WSVU 960am.
When the page scandal broke, Foley was the chairman of the House Caucus on Missing and Exploited Children. He resigned hours after ABC News questioned him about the instant messages with former congressional pages, some of whom were under the age of 18 at the time of the exchanges. Officials in Florida announced a year ago that Foley would not face criminal charges because of "insufficient evidence." |
Could you maybe keep an eye on this and let us know how many Florida folks really want to know what goes on in that foul swamp he calls a mind? Who knows, maybe it will go national and he can challenge Pigboy, Glenda and Captain Falafel for ratings.
