I take it she's a west coast version of ted kennedy. She didn't address as to what she was saying ment and well didn't really say much of anything.

I can't say I caught the entire jist of the discussion given the brief exchange.

But I will say - Alford is a sucker. She had him at "Do you live there?" He was already ticked off.

Then she said just enough for him to toss the race card. Which wins him NO POINTS. Which to me was her intention.

She took him hook line and sinker. Alford needs to brush up on his debating skills.

Between this and the general mamm thing she is really starting to look ignorant if not arrogant .

I understand where the gentleman was coming from in that why was she trying to enter comments from the NAACP into a hearing on the enviorment & resources ? To top it off not being the best speaking representative if she wasn't so darn long winded or take so long to make the point she might get away with this stuff .

But I'm afraid she as long winded let alone sounding whining for a reason . She wants to be noticed. She is grand standing: drawing attention to herself and her agenda. Ms Boxer also appears to be demanding respect rather than earning it.
