Since the kickback scam broke several defendants have pleaded guilty and have been sentenced to prison. Most flooring execs/buyers.
But the investigation is getting bigger and now includes an exec who took kickbacks from a display vendor. I guess a contracted merchandiser to do planos. I heard many HD stores stopped having vendors doing planos perhaps this is why and not necessarily to give store employees more control.
Now HD is admitting these guys cost them money. Ok why haven't prices dropped or only dropped a little in many cases. Show the customers the money.
