Has anybody ever tried following the proper procedures and what was the outcome
Went to store management and problem was resolved

There is no such thing as OPEN DOOR POLICY AT LOWES. The door is always open and every thing RUNS OUT. I would never confide in any one at Lowes NEVER. I got burned horribly and will never do it again. IF I have a complaint, I call the 800 number and don't give my name. But I Make sure that I call enough times to get attention, but not enough info to have it come back to me. You have to protect yourself and dont' let any one tell you differently.
