Just currious, I could really use some plant carts for a home project. I noticed lots of stores have them out in the parkinglot near the back of the store / garden center area.
Are they fair game? free for the taking? Does some other company own them? Do they care if I take 4 / 5 of them home? |

Are you talking about the red carts with handles? If so, no you can't just take them. These are the property of each individual Lowe's store. These are just like the buggies that are at the entrance to the store. These are for the convience of the customers while shopping in the store. NO! You can't have any of them. We sell wagons and garden carts if that is what you are looking to have for your project.
Are you talking about the stacks of pot/plant holders? Those actually belong to the vendors. NO! You can't just take those either. How about going into the store and asking if you can purchase them if you need a couple. The cost of those type of materials is passed onto the customer purchasing products in the garden center and not for someone to just steal from the store. Ask the store if they would be willing to let you have or buy a couple but don't take anything from the sides or back of the store since you'll be on camera and can be prosecuted for theft. |

Gee, let's see ... I notice there are a lot of nice cars in the parking lot of my Lowe's store near the garden center area. I wonder if they would mind if I took any of them. I just need about a dozen. Are they fair game? Do you think someone might own them? Maybe someone just abandoned them. Maybe Lowe's has started selling used cars. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. |

Resets, Go talk to the osl&g department manager, or live nursery specialist; they usually have racks that have to be disposed of/given away. Now, the BIG racks (most often with wheels but not always) usually belong to the growers/vendors and are very expensive-they cannot be touched. However, some things come in like bulbs, seed, cacti and other product that have wooden or metal racks that they (vendors) DO NO WANT back when the product has been sold through. Its then up to us to dispose of them. Most of the racks are smallish, bookcase-sized. But, last year we had a grower that ran out of the racks on wheels, and built giant wooden racks. When the season was over they said they didnt want them back and told us to get rid of them however we wanted. I have several people I call who come in and take these racks off my hands when I have them, to keep the back area from becoming too untidy. Sometimes other employees or managers will take them. Just ask the dm outside to let you know when he/she has some. |

My car is licenced and has an ownership tag on it. I got job, and your ass pays me. Take your stingy-ass worthless carts in leave them in that shitty mess out side of your stores. Thought I might help you not look like a disorganized shit machine, but I guess not. I found something much better for my task. From a much friendlier source. good day! |

I'm guessing perhaps since their job entails us paying them perhaps they are on public assistance. I definately don't think they are working with a full deck. Check the spelling and grammar.
