Layoffs at Home Depot Call Centers.

Will this really improve service at the store level?,Will it be more work for the EXISTING employees or will HD hire more employees at the store level?

Good news is that helps eliminate 3rd party dealings for cusotmer and could lead to some job security at store level with more responsibility and experience needed.

Or is this just and excuse to layoff employees.
