Will this special discount apply to sale and clearance too?

WTF is "approved" black clothes? BLACK IS BLACK. Are black bikinis approved black clothes?

i think it has to be at the discretion of the sales associate. the 30% coupon is a generic one that has no exclusions to be ONLY used by employees FOR employees.

If it's like past "dress code" sales, the clothing must be black and must meet the requirements of the dress code. That means no sportswear or jeans, unless you're in a juniors/young mens area, or offstage.

And handbags and shoes are generally not included... I think.

Will we be able to combine it with other coupons? Such as the 20% off and $10 of $30 coupons that expire 10/14.

Well since our "all black" dress code won't be enforced til Jan 1, I went to JC Penney, bought 3 blouses and 2 t-shirts for $60. I don't think all my discounts can beat those prices because the blouses I like are EDV.

They just put out the new guidelines out for Style at Work. The 30% is actually a coupon and a manager has to approve of your black clothing purchases. You still get the extra 20% backoffice discount. SEPT 26 - 29.. .You should be getting info about this in your stores soon.

We haven't gotten any guidelines from HR to date. All we know is that a manager has to OK all purchases. Does not include EDV's. So if I shop at another location (which has Style&Co. for mom) I have to get rung up and OK'd by their managers.

Is this BS or what??

now come on !!! we already have to go around and look down people's pants to see if they are wearing official black thong underwear. now we gotta go around checking out all the women's breasts to see if they have black standard bras too ???

man, that is a tough job, but somebody has to do it. do we have any volunteers ??

Isn't "Style at work" when speaking of Macy's an oxy-moron?

Our managers gave us the okay to empower ourselves in making the appropriate decisions on what's considered "work" apparel. Pretty adult of them, I thought. The nice thing is that this is the first time that I remember women's shoes included in the event -- flats, heels, dress boots -- in any color. The girls are giddy...
