Wow, for the first time our store was dead! My store is normally preety bussy on other events.

I herd electronics was bussy, not on softlines. Management let some people leave early

Probably the least busy F&F night I've seen. Appliances had some business, but that was it for the most part.

Besides the fact that it's Sears, the lack of customers was probably due to the fact that this F&F night was just thrown together.

I didn't work that night but form what I was told we made way over our quota which is very strange. It was dead after 8:00 and most of the sale where in BC.

Worst ever.

When we had REAL F & F we'd have customers taking numbers...BC people would be writing sales in half light at 9:30 because the computers had turned the main lights off at 9:15.

This Sunday all the Associates were eating cookies and drinking punch with the 6 customers in the store by 6:30.

Why????

Because with the frequency and promos of Friends and Family anymore it's actually better for them to shop a week before or a week after.

A major retailer being run by a Crew that don't know, and worse don't realize that they don't know....

About retail.

Gotta love it.

Very Happy

I said this in an earlier post, I knew this one was going to be a dud. Personally, I did ok because I had a lead come back. But overall, it was a bust. By 8 my manager was looking for volunteers to go home.

sales were better than a normal Sunday - much better in fact

BUT - for a F and F - it was my worst performance

What I will be more interested to see - is how this one effects the F and F in August which traditionally has been one of my better nights of the year

IF I still pull that night out, then this was worth it, but - if this weakens the August F and F, then it wouldnt be worth it

Same as every other night: dead. Evil or Very Mad

Once again, the associate's (incl. cashiers, mcas, and "management") outnumbered the customer.

It's a big freaking scam anyway. You can buy a "jumbo pillow" for $4.99 every other day, meanwhile on F&F night it's $9.99 but you get one "free" lol. I'm sure the customers are on this b.s.

yea go figure that the same way on the HL side. Some stuff get priced higher for F & F then turn around Monday and it comes down in price.
