I vote for Karen Scott for CEO and Chairman of Macy's. Karen represents fashionable women who love conservativeness and comfortability. Karen is also very experienced in maintaining a dead brand - she can successfully restore the profitability of Macy's and make it the "way to shop"! |

Yes, I know, millions of old women love me, others love to hate me. Those others usually being the MTM's who have to merchandise me.
Anyway, I remember freaking out when it went under $20.00 a few weeks ago. I think I'll die if it goes under $10.00. Kohl's stock fell from $54 something to $33.16. Penny's used to be above $40.00, and is now at $23.42. Dillard's is the bottom of the barrel at $8.50. I predict store closings after christmas. Maybe not a lot, but at least 10-25. The 3 stores in Texas that were closed from Hurricane Ike will not be reopening. |

Macy's stock has been going down since March 2006 and since July it has really tanked. We can only hope that the company does not go bankrupt. Hmmnn, bankruptcy would probably mean that no severance would be given to any employees.

You stole that idea from Macy's, they've been being their own charity for years. Next, you have to figure out how to get tax write-offs and recognition for donations that other people make. |

I second the motion in regards to Mr. Lungens bonus should be in Macys funny money do I hear a third motion so we all could agreed on this for the next board meeting in regarding to subject ..if third motion comes we all my say AYE to this..and thank you all for shopping at MACYS..a very magical place indeed..
