Today I had SO many people ask me which price is the ORIGINAL price. Remember, this is my pet peeve. The sale tickets even say ORIGINAL PRICE on them!!!

that's true, but the line crossed thru the original price (done by machine) always goes right thru the middle. many MANY times (most times) the original price was something like $ 58. when that line goes thru it, it looks like it WAS $50, not $ 58. so the customer always thinks the markdown price is wrong. "no, it must be $ 25, NOT $ 29 !!!!! ya know how that goes. Doh!

In that case I wouldn't quibble but the other day at Macy's I found a pair of Tommy Hillfiger Swim Trunks I liked. They were 50% off and then an additional 50% off on the clearance rack during the ODS. When I went to pay for them, they rang up higher, I told the sales guy and he rudely informed me that that was the price and thats all he would do. I told him to keep them.

Had he spoken to me politely, then I would have bought them and walked out. It was only like a $3 difference, but he was rude and it made me angry!

It was a ODS, but I was really offended. I thought his attitude what completely uncalled for. I was really disappointed with Macy's that day. I had to make a return, (that bottle of cologne) and he never asked me why! Which is a good thing, but he did give me a look when I told him I had lost the receipt.

Bloomingdales on the other hand was wonderful. The lady that checked me out went out of her way to accommodate myself, even though I only bought a $8 mug!

ours is "pull a card"

Check your bottom, if it is not glued in that seat, then you will be pulling a card....

or

If your bottom moves out of the carpet square, it will be moving to the behavior chart to pull your card.
Why?
Because I said so....

My son's teacher just moved him back to sitting beside his best friend. I asked her why she did that, since she just moved them b/c they kept talking, and she said that she decided that if she couldn't beat them, she would join them! She's a really fun teacher, my son is really enjoying this year at school.

I wanted to buy a paint bucket at The Home Depot and paint the words "Seat Glue" on it... The other teachers said not to do it, since I didn't have tenure.

I do something similar, and I may be buying carpet squares for my students to sit on when I read to them. I have been trying to read The Tales of Desperaux for a few weeks and it isn't going good.

my carpet is divided into squares, so they all have a personal square to sit in.... it is a good amount of personal space until they decide to lay down, twirl, or do anything other than sitting....

From the Law Offices of Federated and Co.

To FOM:

This letter is to inform you that your terrorist methods of scaring your students is unjustified and cruel. Due to the fragile state of their young minds, it necessary that you cease immediately with your classroom management methods and revert to the old fashion form of punshiment. Paddling. Better yet, they have excellent hands. Therefore, employ them under Macy's or Bloomingdales work structure and have them be exploited as sweatshop laborers for designer clothes at ten cents per hour. Please refrain from using your original procedures or we shall be forced to use legal action. Thank your your time.

Sincerely,

Terry Lundgren and Associates Rock on!
