Yeah, you'd better not forget about us lowly retail-workers!
Congratulations!

Well Lady it day one of freedom from retail..... How does it feel? I know I felt terrific when I left retail!!!
Home Depot was probably the best place that I worked.. On my last day they had all signed an apron for me, I almost cried, no one had ever done that for me before.

That reminds me a song from Sweet Charity!
"There's gotta something better than this....There's gotta something better to do! And when I find me something better to do! I'm gonna get up! I gonna get out! I'm gonna get up, get out and do it!"

I thought that the Abercrombie & Fitch song was going to be your new theme song.

When you leave Macy's you get a plaque that says, DON'T LET THE DOOR HIT YOU IN THE ASS ON YOUR WAY OUT"!

How about a limerick!
There was once was a lady in Macy's
Whose skin was all white and pasty!
After purchasing a bronze self tanner
She'd set off the register scanners
I guess selling her that experimental tanner was a bit hasty!

Well if she had seen the date on that tanner and that it expired in 1909 then she would have been ok.

very cute!
But I'm mad at you two. How can you sit around singing songs? This is what I'm talking about! If I wanted to hear people singing all day, I would just go to Macy's. Can't you two be more helpful?
Geez.

This is what I keep saying...
My town is a CUSTOMER SERVICE town. Our customers expect it. They will not buy from Macy's when there is no service. They will not search the store to find a sales person, they do not feel that they should have to, and they are right.
If Macy's shelled out a little more money to have enough sales people, they would make more money. I'm not talking about having a "clerk" in each area to ring customers up, (although, that would be a start!), I'm talking about having help at the register, and also someone to assist customers. I have had serveral customers say to me "I could get the same thing at Target, I come to a department store for SERVICE, and if I can't get it, I'll go to Target.
Just look at Nordstrom; they sell expensive items and have great CS. People don't mind paying more to get good service.
