Seeking motivated, results oriented individuals with strong retail sales backgrounds for terrific opportunity with a well known retailer for its Middlesex County location. Experience in the following lines would be beneficial but not necessarily required:
- Hard lines
- Fine gifts
- Fine jewelry
- Furniture
- Merchandising (not plan-o-gram)
- Loyalty programs
- Private label credit card programs
If you are seeking a stable position with a salary (this is not a commissioned sales opportunity) please reply with you resume and salary requirements.
Requirements:
Job Qualifications and Experience:
1. At least 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high volume, customer service oriented department store or specialty store environment.
2. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.
3. Intermediate computer skills.
Knowledge and Skills:
1. Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills required.
2. Must have strong merchandising skills and the ability to drive business.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Must be computer literate.
This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Exactly. Some disgusted retail manager may come here to complain and then - thank GOD!!! - find a new job. So, I see the rational of posting a job here.
Not that Im interested in the above position. Retail management is the position from hell - worse than a retail worker becuase you eat, sleep, breath, live, and die for the store. 60+ hours a week with no OT and bad money. Per hour, some of the people who work for you make more money than you do. Take your seemingly larger salary and divide it by 65 and see how that compares to hourly pay of the average Joe in your store. Then factor in the stress and zero personal life, and it comes into perspective - who would want to be a retail manager???
