If a customer had a complaint about you, did your managers call you to the back and let the customer yell at you? (You can't say anything back, btw) Then the mgrs apologize to the customer (again) and give him/her a 10% off coupon and then write you up.
It happened to one other guy I worked with and he quit the next day. When it happened to me I quit the next week.

What is even worse is the cowardly "Voice of the Customer" where customers can use their receipt to enter code and comment on service. The Internet is bad enough for it anonymous bravado, but when customers can enter garbage like "The employee should be fired at once" from the safety of their own home, it is ripe for abuse.
What was worse is the management posts this garbage in the lunchroom.
I find this very unprofessional of our managers.

This is nothing new.... same thing happened to me over 12 years ago when I worked for them... except the managers let the customer yell at me at the front end of the store... when he finished the managers yelled at me... also at the front end... that's when I took off that orange and walked.. best thing I ever did
