this is an open forum. there are some among us who wants a closed forum . i do not agree with this concept. i believe anybody should be able to come andhave always believed that. but there are some who want to discuss their issues by themselves thats fine. but i will not participate there.

Are you referring to the registration requirement rp?

Because all you need to register is a working email address. And those are available free and anonymously from a number of web providers. There's no reason why the registration requirement should be a barrier to anyone who wants to participate.

The main advantage of the registration requirement is that it makes it a little more difficult (but far from impossible) for a few trolls to take over the forum by repeatedly posting under different names to give the illusion that more people actually care about or agree with what they have to say.

Perhaps that's not what's bothering you, though. I was just guessing. If it's something else, please share. We the acting mods want to make this a welcoming environment for everyone who has an honest desire to contribute.

there are some who want to keep some people out and i believe everyone has an opinion. some of my past friends are for a closed forum but i am not with them anymore. so come all to this one, it is a great forum.

I agree with a registration to keep repeat posting and trouble makers out But what I cant stand about Other forums that I have visited is when you post and others who does not agree with you gang up and a moderator jumps in and deletes your post.

I think its just kind of rude and insulting to just say "This doesn't belong in this forum." And moving it to another forum its amost like throwing it in the trash can. Give the guy a chance to speak since the day is not over since he posted.

Sure everyone does not have the same point of view and thats what makes these forums interesting and I agree with Goodfella.

I believe rp is referring to me.
While "closed forum" is his terminology, I prefer "Selectively Permeable".
I know that you know why I feel that way.
If not, I will be happy to explain.

Stop using NCDAD as a scapegoat for everything on the old site.

As you say Kanaka! For some there is just no letting go! As we have proved, bygones can indeed by bygones. But some cannot let things lie.....I will take the high road! End of thread as far as I am concerned.

The majority of your posts to date have been confrontational in nature. I'll drop the "hate" word. What's eating at you lately?
