Insurance complaint

I have had trouble hearing for awhile(several years), well it has gotten bad enough that I decided to get a hearing test. I called the insurance company. They don't cover hearing tests or hearing aides. They do cover birth control, artifical limbs, laser eye surgery, but not hearing aides. I know this may be the old lady in me coming out but geez. There is a girl at our store who does where hearing aides and the manager told her not to tell customers she is legally deaf and is wearing hearing aides. Just that she is to keep the volume up on the device. This girl has to turn her hearing aides down because the noise in the store is so bad, when she is near a customer she turns them up. She has been reported by customers for ignoring them usually when the customer is behind her. If I can get a hearing aide less than $1000.00 ($1000-$3000 yeah that's what the cost, I about fell over), and a manager told me not to tell a customer I was wearing one. I would tell them to go shit in their hat. It is better than saying excuse me I didn't hear you, or the customer thinks you are ignoring them.

Classy, I'm sorry that hearing aids are not part of our medical plan but then again I don't buy into our medical or dental plan. Why not??? 1. I can't afford it (thank you REPUBILICANS. not saying DEMOCRATS will do any better but they aren't in office are they). 2. I served in the Military for 13 years and they (POLITICS) let me go because it is cheaper to hire someone new then to keep someone old. So Uncle SUGAR WILL take care of me come HELL OR HIGH WATER. I discovered by asking questions that DENTURES was not covered by our DENTAL plan so why should I sign up. It isn't likey I will have a cavity to fill here or there. It only cost $1,000 upper and $1,000 lower. Cheap as far as Insurance companies would think but still, we don't cover it (except the 1st time when you have your teeth removed). So as far as I'm concerned, THIS COMPANY DOES SQUAT for it's employees for the price they pay.

I think the medical plan with cigna is crap. first, not many doctors in plan in my area and the ones that are, are forien and can barely speak english. second, I have been to three doctors after being diagnosed with a non healing leasion by my primary doctor to a general sergon who did a biopsy and found it to be basal cell carconoma and being its on my scalp I would have to see a plastic surgion due to the size. now the insurance company has not payed any of the doctors after 4 months and I have yet to have it removed, (skeduled next week) I have called the cigna hotline number twice and I and the doctors keep getting letters inquiring everything from all the doctors I have seen in my life (right) to current treatments and disorders to letters asking which doctor ordered which lab test. my doctors have mailed back the stupid forms and still no change in status or payment.

I have never in all my life had so much problems with a insurance company and I have been with other self inshured companes with an administrator to blue cross with nothing even close to the problems I have now.
my next course of action if I dont hear anything soon is to call the state insurance board and report them.

and all my doctor appoints have been aranged around my days off so I would not lose time or sick or vacation days.
