i have been dumped by a few friends that have been pretended to be my friends on this site for almost a year. i feel they are going down a dark road. they want autonomy and they want to promote their own truth. unfornately i think they will be the loser for it. i thought them to be my friends but i found out that no one really is your friend. saddened by the experience

Yes you are welcome here. It is true that this site does not seem like the old one and that's mainly due to the fact that we dont have people like Nofs posting on a regular basis or Midwest calling out for strikes on sears. There will be more nofs and midwests in the future but just not at this very moment. This site is new, give it some time to grow and blossom. Even though in less then a week i wont be here anymore (have a new job) look to the end of august to hopefully see about 4-500 registered users. Things changes, people change, two constant things in life besides the staple things like "there will always be death and taxes " Smile. Feel free to post here and try and make some new friends. A true friend would not stab you in the back and if they did, they would be man enough to admit it and try to make it up to you. If they don't then they were never truly your friend to begin with. Remeber take everything with a grain of salt. Smile

I wouldn't put Nofs and Midwest in the same category. One wrote very thoughtful posts (even thought I often didn't agree) while the other was considerably more "militant" and would pour gas on the fire anytime he could.

But that's the good thing about a forum like this. All are welcome.... or should be.

I miss Nofs, too. Every time I see an article about sears, I wish he'd give us his editorial. Ahh, those were the days. Never to be again. Lost, just like the site. In the past. Just a memory.

Thank God I was part of it. It was my salvation. I am ever grateful to have been a part of something so important to so many of us. Who would have guessed that we could make bonds with strangers over our computer screens that would impact our daily lives in such a way.

When we lost our personal messaging on the old RW, I sat in front of my computer and cried for my loss. Then when the site was gone, I was only comforted that some of us had the forethought to trade addresses in case such a disaster came to be.

But there'll never be what we had before. I'm glad to have all of you here to tell me what's going on in your lives and in your stores so I don't feel all alone.

We have mixed it up in the past, but I am glad you are here.....diverse opinions are the best thing for an open forum.
