I'm watching the 70's show. Yeah, it's funny. Good characters. But, I grew up in the 70's. Graduated High School in 1975. We didn't say "hot" back then, did we? There are other phrases that didn't come out until the 90's, didn't they? Am I remembering the 70's wrong? Should I shut up and let it not be historically correct? It's a funny show. But, we were funny....in the 70's. Even if it wasn't the 90's. Huh?

Tewksbury Menorial High School............class of 1974.
And nope we never said "hot".
But I did have a 1966 Olds Vista Cruiser beach wagon.
Not the same year as the one in the show but?? Who had one of them in there last year of high school?
BTW...........do you remember Boonsfarm apple wine and Tango?
Big weekend drinks back in the day. ~GoodFella

I didn't have an old beach wagon. I had a 64 1/2 red Mustang I paid $200 for.

I graduated high school 1978. A friend of mine was class of 1976. I had her see "Daze and Confused" that was her time.
The 70's had everything. I remember going to see Blue Oyster Cult one night and a disco the next. Oh and I can't forget the "Rocky Horror Picture Show."

I graduated before all of you. Was only 16 years old as a senior and had to take the school bus if I couldn't bum a ride! Didn't have a job yet like my slightly older friends did... which was a real social hinderance! But I WAS an Honor Society officer. How cool is that. LOL
Meantime, my slightly older friends were sharing hotel rooms, drinking to excess and becoming parents. Oops.

The 70's were sex, drugs, and rock and roll. I'm sure it's partly the reason Sears has been my career instead of brain surgery. Let that be a lesson to my kids. Live vicariously through your parents because these days there is no safe sex, safe drugs, or Led Zepplin.
