anyone at family dollar. Need someone else's opinion on working for peanuts. |

Hello, FD Store Manager Here. Working for P-Nuts. Yes I am. If you divide my salary into average 85 hours per week, I make a whoppin $4.00 per hour. So basically, my employees make more than I. I want to hear from former and current store managers. I want you to vent any problems you are having currently in your store now or formerly. I am so disgusted with always being 2 employees short, and working like a dog. Store Managers speak out. |

yeah, you keep thinking next week you'll be able to work a "normal" fifty something week and it's always some reason
why you can't. A meeting on your day off, a visit, a project, your one assistant calls out, always something.Pretty soon, the store you were so eager to run well starts to seem more like a prison instead. A week turns into a month, a month into six months, then a year, then two, then....... apparently that's the way FD operates, two people short with the store manager carrying most of the load(working like a dog) I don't think turnover bothers them much either.
