Since I only work 2 days a week, I have more time to spend on my computer than most people do and curiousity got the best of me I decided to try something............
I used a program called MICROSOFT MONEY to simulate a portfolio containing 500 shares of stock from Dollar general, Dollar Tree and Family Dollar.
Every Monday I update my portfolio on the internet and I can see what the stocks are worth and if they went up or down for the week.
I am curious to see how they compare to or differ from each other.
If anyone else would like to do this and you don't have Microsoft Money I will be happy to send you a copy
