Eeeewwwweee, the Christmas creep...

At this point why they don't heck don't they open a xmas shop all year round. Why not Sears and Kmart seem to have plenty of space and walking room in the stores now a days.

Sad commentary when people live for this one holiday.

My thoughts exactly... just declare it the Christmas season all year round.

But dammit guys, let's face it. They couldn't pull this shit if there weren't a couple hundred million sheep out here waiting to line up and be shorn. The one thing the greedy bastards running the country today know is greed itselef and the greed of the American consumer is not ever to be "misunderestimated" to use a term made popular by some yokel whose name I don't recall.

Or does someone want to try to convince me that those crowds lined up outside the local Walmart, ready to break down the doors and trample people to death to save a few bucks are anything but just as greedy as those that create the arena in which it occurs?

nofs - the sheep

The sheeple-the second party to the crime

Corporate America treats those sheep like prey. I can see buying early if the prices are GREAT but why the heck are you buying decorative balls in July-you should be buying beach balls-oh forgot you'r supposed to buy those in March.

Here at HD our Black Friday ad hit the 19th-a week early. What a mad house. Many of our washer/dryers are half price. We also received a truck load of appliances-not just very limited supply. Unfortunately for Sears, we are drawing many sales away from them. Looking at Sears' Black Friday ad it may be too little, too late in our town because HD started early. We also received some Whirlpool washer/dryer sets. I was told this is an experiment to branch out into different lines. As a 35 year retired Sears associate(now at HD) I wish all of you and Sears a happy and prosperous holiday season. Smile
