Has been in the ad the last two weeks, and has been unavailable. The "solution" is to offer the Samsung LED7000 model for 2000(the same 700 dollar "savings story")
Sorry, 1999(for the samsung) as a substitution for a 1299 item(the LG) is pretty much stupid.
Who else is ready to smash their LG display with a sledgehammer.
At least they could have allowed more HFM's or something, even if they were mid December arrivals.

Tell the customer that the TV is crap and sell them the Sony 46v5100 for less than 1299 with a free blu-ray player to boot. They'll be happier in the long run, the LG is not good.
