If hedgefunds and consulting firms like Mckinsey can wreck once great companies like Sears and I guess they are capable of just about anything.
Some hedgefunds/associates and a Mckinsey associate were recently arrested for insider trading.
I think this crap goes much more often than not but these toads just got caught. It's still a rigged game out there.
Good for the SEC and by the book traders/investors.

I've become excited when hearing those teases and headline blurbs about another hedgie getting busted ... only to become significantly depressed when it's not one of those familiar names associated with SHC.
But I have a feeling the exact reverse progression hits those at SHC in times like those.
The SEC "Arson Squad" is sniffing around, and where there's smoke ....

The SEC has been given MORE than enough information on SHC's oprations to at least incite a fact finding expedition if nothing else. How they choose to act on the information they have received is of course, their prerogative but if they fail to undertake any investigation or examination, it won't be because someone hasn't pointed fingers at what's been going on for the last six years.
