Anyone else receive a letter telling you that Lowe's has decided to use home delivery for maintenance medications? I have allergy medications that I need to take on a semi-daily basis. The co-payment on this medication is $75 now I don't want to have to pony up $225 at one time just because it is easier and cheaper for Lowe's to have them shipped every three months. There are months when times are lean that I have not been able to even pick up my medication now they are forcing me to spend that money if I even want one month worth of prescription. I've tried all of the OTC and even lower costing allergy medications and they just don't work for me. So I guess for it to be more cost effective for Lowe's I will have to pony up $225 for my medication.
What are your thoughts?

There was something a month or so back about this and it sounds like a bad deal for you. Thankfully I'm not on any maintenance medications, at least for now, but it sounds like Lowe's associates, once again, are getting the short end of the deal.
Wish you the best of luck!

I believe you can opt out by calling the Express scripts.

I take 4 maintenence meds and get from Express Scripts and I save $125.00 over a 3 monthe period...my output for all 4 at a time is $127.00 but again, all of them are generic as well. Any chance you can qualify for Walmart's deals??
I also did opt out for them mailing my insulin and syringes because I live in a not so nice neighborhood but I had to call and talk to them.

I opted out of home delivery by just calling Express Scripts. It's in the letter that we got concerning home delivery of maintenance meds.

I think working at Lowe's is the REASON I have to take the meds I do!
