Today was the first chance I've really gotten to look at Insite in depth since the changes. Under paid time off there is a category called Diamond Days. It indicates that I'm not eligible for any days but I'm just curious what they are.

We used to have diamond star days with Mayco, which you earned for being a "diamond star". You earned your diamond star by getting x number of "exceptionally friendly" shoppings. But I didn't think we got them with the big red star. IDK. Confused

In our (a former MAYCO) store, that is where our HR Mgr puts our perfect attendance days. We don't see it on Insite, but it shows up on our schedule as "Diamond Day".

In our store, a Diamond Day is earned when you get X amount of "outstanding" crl's within a specific time period. I'm not sure, because I've never got a CRL.

"Diamond Day" corresponds to the Diamond Star award pin given on an annual basis. For sales, the associate needs to have a hundred percent score in three of the four quarters in the scorecard and at least an eight-five on one quarter. For support, they need to receive a highly exceeds expectations in their annual review. The benefit, besides a pin on the name badge is an extra paid day off, by the name of diamond day.

After hearing that May Co had the Diamond Star first, it makes me think that Federated merely took something from someone they ate up and remade it as one of their own.

Yes, this is something that came from Mayco. They told us that we could keep our diamond star pins and wear them on our name plates.
But I have YET to receive a day off with pay for a diamond day!
Just a pin, that's all.

yes mayco gave you a diamond (chip, probly glass) pin when you got 3 exceptionally friendly mystery shops. Things changed to macy's & HR & the store mgr actually took the pin off our name plate, some say it happened right out on the floor in front of customers. Now you have to earn it back by having 100% in sales & loyalty accts. Then you get a pd day off, aka diamond day. macy's policies suck! Just another thing to add to the list of things they took away from us. We used to get real money for every new acct we opened, not this funny money that you can't use on things you really want and need. Razz
