The store I am at has 101 full time and 46 Part-time, seasonal employees. It is a 50 million buck store. HR is as worthless as BenGay on the groin.

Hey NS doesn't Ben-gay on the groin sting? At least that is a little bit of action.
I'm in a store with 130 ft employees and 50 seasonal employees. Not in a 50M store.

Don't knock it unless you've tried it.

The store I work at has the usual Wal-Mart management. Shrink level was raised from 10% to 12%. That is probably the reason for low employment numbers, plus Wal-mart management. Most loss is caused by established local theft rings, which are well rooted in the store. The rest of the loss is done by local "recreational" theives and store employee supplementing their pay checks. LP was given names of these people but refuses not to act. Let me put it this way. Theft in the store has it roots all the way to LP, including LP. As far as the thread topic, I trust only a few in the store. To trust someone you do not know is foolish.

So LP is involved in your opinion? Have you alerted the area LPM? You can do so very discretely.

still hr isn't exactly the brighest thing in the world. I remember after 3 years she asked for an I9...three years! Sweet Lord how slow can a position be!
How many times is HR paged on the overhead? Not HR paging people...I'm talking about how many need to see hr.
What information can you get from hr that you can't get from myloweslife? ::crickets in the background:: they can't prevent lawsuits because they aren't lawyers and not authorized to high an independent legal defense..
If someone gets sued they get the summons to appear in court and if they don't show up it becomes a warrent for arrest.
Just go to some other chains and see if there even is an HR there...many don't have them.
And don't use these exceptions that somehow it has to be home improvement or it has to be a warehouse like enviroment.
