Motorola's HR ex Greg Lee leaves.
Apparently Liska's ex Sears pal Greg Lee ex Sears HR exec present for alot of the shennanigans of the Lacy era resigned rather ' surprisingly ' with in a month after the lastest round of allegations came out.

It's not just Sears... it's big business in general. I remember back in the sixties a lot of the big organized crime (Mob) figures were claiming it was time to "go legit" and start taking over legitimate businesses and running them for the benefit of the "families".
I would at this point have not one problem believing that's exactly what has happened. it really doesn't matter if the people behind Wall Street aren't actual recognized organized crime figures though... the job they're doing on us couldn't be done better they were.
They run their businesses with the same ruthless disregard for the country and the people in it that you would expect from the Mafia or whatever the hell they're calling themselves these days.

nofs - ' organized crime '
That describes it well including the way half these toad execs act like a punk or basically are a punk or punkette. It's all about a group of core execs or faction with-in the company. Instead of guns they use policy, process and accounting tricks.
My thing with these execs is that you would figure their reputation would be known in the executive circles. Or they only hire an exec if a fellow exec will vouch for them. I think that's how you get these stacked boards. They want someone who thinks exactly like they do. And if that means putting the books on a grill or stretching the truth like a rubberband so be it.
Very few execs from the Lacy era seem to be faring well on their own. It just goes to show you what a F'd up bureaucracy Sears Roebuck was til it's final days. I'm still wondering why Lacy didn't keep Liska:sounds like he was a shrewd enough character that Sears might not have gotten forked as much when dealing with eddie/the ESL crew.
